teddy x syd
In collaboration with Google Creative Lab, TEDxSydney and the Sydney Opera House, we created a fleet of 40 interactive teddy bears that could talk, react to their environment and tell stories triggered by Bluetooth beacons. Each bear had a witty, sometimes cheeky personality, guiding people through riddles and clues to uncover their “lost owner,” with a reward waiting at the end.
I supported the project with design and creative execution, helping shape the identity and experience across physical and digital touchpoints. This experiment in proximity-based storytelling turned history, people and places into playful narratives, showing how technology and character-driven storytelling can transform a festival space into an adventure.
